LAW 7.2.148 - August 15, 2019EnhancementsIntroducing “Import Sets”Import Sets are a new way for you to organize and label Turbo Import datasets, allowing to you organize and bucket data for additional processing •Associate Custodians and Sources with a custom Import Set label. •Manage Import Sets throughout all of LAW's Turbo Import processing stages. •A new and improved Turbo Import report to formulate reports on all Turbo Import Sets, or selected Import Sets. •Filter, reprocess, and report errors by Import Set. Additional work flows for Turbo Import•Tag list support •Delimited text overlay support •New Turbo Import Output Folder Controls provide flexibility in structuring LAW folders by Custodian, Source, and/or Import Sets. LAW Configuration Utility•Users can now upload legacy case lists to the LAW management database via the LAW Configuration Utility. •Improved flexibility for environment management - NIST databases can now be configured with custom SQL logins and locations. OtherLAW TSI (Touch Screen Interface) is now compatible with the LAW 7.2 environment structure. LAW’s Concordance Desktop export now supports remote server connection with Concordance Desktop version 1.07+ to push data directly to Concordance Desktop from anywhere in your LAW and Concordance environment. Added support for processing RAR 5+ archive formats. Known IssuesTurbo ImportWhen applying passwords and reprocessing encryption errors, then encrypted duplicates that have already been populated in LAW are not excluded. In rare instances, embedded images are not being extracted with the correct file type extension through Turbo Import. E-PrintingFor Power Point Notes files, the Date/Time Stamp is printed in the output when 'Do not print date/time stamps' is selected. InstallationCloudNine™ LAW and CloudNine™ Explore installer may generate an error when attempting to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Update 3 Redistributable Package" if “Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable" is already installed on the machine. This error can be safely ignored if the newer redistributable is installed. TIFF/PDFWhen tiffing oversized MSGs with oversized images, the oversized image is not resized to fit to page. Note for 64-Bit Outlook and tiffing: Users who plan to tiff MSG files using 64-bit Outlook are advised to set the SourceApp setting to Shell Printer. The use of 64-Bit Outlook as a supported Source Application is not currently supported at this time. Expervision OCRWhen OCRing to create a Searchable PDF, using the Create PDF Thumbnail option causes OCR to timeout. Disabling the Create PDF Thumbnail resolves this. Abbyy doesn't have this issue. Run CommandPDF Metadata Extractor Run Command generates error message, "Error occurred performing PDF metadata scan." Software LicensingWhen multiple product keys are activated on the same license server with overlapping features, the overlapping features will display the expiration date of the product key that expires first. •For example, a perpetual license contains 1 Tiff, 1 Admin, 1 ED Loader, and 1 OCR and is activated on the license server with an expiration date of NEVER. A burst license for 2 Tiff licenses, 1 Edit, and 1 OCR licenses that Expires on 6/18/2018 is activated on the same license server. The license manager will display the 3 Tff and 2 OCR licenses combined with an expiration date of 6/18/2018. •Deactivating the burst license or the perpetual license from the license server to activate on a different server, will remove all overlapping licenses. For example, deactivating the burst license will remove all Tiff and OCR licenses in addition to the 1 Edit license, leaving the 1 Admin and 1 ED Loader on the license server. The current workaround is to deactivate the remaining license (perpetual EID) and activate it again. NSF ProcessingScenarios where multiple Agents attempt to process a single NSF file may cause an exception. To bypass this exception, users can temporarily restrict processing to one agent and reprocess the NSF source, and then remove the agent restriction for regular imports. This will be addressed in a future release. |
