LAW 7.13 - October 28, 2025
Expanded LAW’s ability to now convert ED Loader cases into Turbo cases. Clients will be given a choice •Clients with ED Loader cases will have the option of upgrading their ED Loader cases to Turbo cases. oIf they have Turbo licenses, then this process will move forward. oIf they do not, they will be prompted to reach out to their account manager •They can choose not to upgrade. oStay with ED Loader oUpgrade later with the “Upgrade to Turbo” banner oSQL based ED Loader cases will get a “Upgrade to Turbo” banner in the top right until they decided not to upgrade. Upon conversion •Converted case will be able to use the multithreading Turbo agents and process data much faster than ED Loader •The process will use the hashing scheme settings that was last selected in LAW. •It will then set the properties in the Turbo case oIt will copy the custodian list from ED Loader to Turbo •It will make field indicating that it is a converted case – EDLCompatibility and it is found in the CaseProperties SQL table. NOTE cases cannot be unconverted. •EDLCompatibility is the new stage that the ED Loader hashing happens in. •The EDLCompatibility has workstation logging. •Cases will go through the conversion process at around 1min for every 100K documents •The case will close after conversion. •If there is a failure during the converting, the case will remain an ED Loader case After conversion •Ingestion will first process with Aspose but on the hashing the hashing agents to use redemption to the pull the fields in the way needed and hash like ED Loader •We will be able to process and generate ED Loader hashing on PST, OSTs, loose emails, loose EML and MBOX files. •If the user has converted cases, they will need 32bit or 64bit Outlook on the Turbo workstation/s. •It will use the ED Loader hash table during dedup and if it survives that level of dedup then use the Turbo hashing table. •User will be able to access ED Loader session history within converted cases. – still needs to be built out
Expanded Turbo Import Unlocking the last Turbo Import settings on each ingestion, allowing Turbo Import to be as flexible as ED Loader. These include •Changing deduplication from custodian to global or none. •Changing NIST on and off •Enable or disable File Type filtering •Enable or disable Date Range Filtering •Enable or disable Expand compound document Import sets now come with their own tagged field on the processing session •The tag name is broken down by ingestion order number, what engine and what date. •Example ProcSess_1_LAWTurboImport_2025-05-09_EDA Expanding the Output settings from the Turbo engine •Allow users to enable or disable nested filename for archive items Hiding completed jobs •When you check the “Show Previous Imports” you can see all previous, filter them and sort them.
Give LAW a bit more power •We were able to give LAW the ability to use a bit more RAM, allowing for a larger file to be imaged, OCR’d and exported. In certain circumstances you may see a slight increase in speed as well.
Expanded Turbo Imager to also allow for •Expanding pages to 8.5x11 or just place those small images on an 8.5x11 page •Expanded PowerPoint with options of slides, slides with notes and slides with notes full page
Expanded Image replacement load files to also include .LFP files and work with relative paths Expanded Load File capability to work with .DBF, .LFP. LOG, .OPT, .DII, and .CSV Removal of Null characters in these fields •ErrorMsg, Application Name, Attach, Language, BCC, CC
Expanded Turbo Imports field list •DateLowerBound, TimeLowerBound, DateUpperBound, TimeUpperBound, Date Soure, FromDomain, Expanded Turbo cases into populating more _PS fields _PS_ARCX, _PSOLEX, SuspectOLE and _PSATTX
Expand optimize palette with a 2nd stage in order to get more for a color for color results. Expanded LAW scanning in the embedded or TSI system to work with barcodes while in the color scanning mode Expanded Windows Certification •Office 2021 •Office 2024
NOTE: Upgrade testing to 7.13 only occurred on 7.10 and above. |
