LAW 7.10 - July 1, 2024

Updated Licensing -

•LAW/Explore 7.10 was created to work with a new Cloud Server, allowing clients to be able to Activate, Refresh and Deactivate their soft license keys.

•Improved the error logging when EMS or RMS systems generate an exception.

Improving Turbo Import –

•In 7.10 we have our first round of expanding and breaking out the ability of Turbo. Starting with 7.10 Turbo clients will be able to adjust a large number of Ingestion settings. The affected settings are: selecting a different time zone per ingestion set, selecting native placeholders, identifying language content, restricting the language content, adjusting the email message format (Native or HTML), extracting custom metadata for MS Office documents or the EXIF data, auto-assigning suspect extensions,  identifying hidden text, changing the numbering seed, with Alpha-numeric or Numbering attachments, setting the Folder Structure you want to use, and how the documents are sorted. Tired of that Red Critical Bar? Now you can make it go away. Also, you will be able to see more information as to why this error happened in the Turbo UI and in the CSV report that can be generated.

NEW Reporting –

•Listening to our clients that they would like better reporting out of LAW, we have created a new Advanced Reports section. Our first new report in this section is the Case Summary Report. As a user you will be able to filter how you want the report to fit your needs, Session or Set, Tag or custodian. Upon generating the report, you will then get a summary of the document time-line, Text, Tiff status, Natives, Duplication status, Parents vs Attachments, Endorse, Extended Properties, Index, and Importance.

Expanding Tested Run command list -

•Expanding the run commands that users can download and select to use with LAW. This new run command that was created by a LAW user, will allow clients to generate page level numbering with suffixes. Clients can select the length of the suffix, the suffix separator, if they want to exclude the suffix from the first page, if they want to restart suffix counter for each document, and if they want to filter on a tagged set of documents.
