Searching is a fundamental core component of Concordance Desktop, and there are a variety of tools to assist you in this process. You can use all of them, deciding which you prefer or produces faster results depending on the task and issue currently at-hand.
There are search tools for locating specific record content, each one specific to the type of search you are conducting:
•Quick Search (full-text and relational)
•Persistent Search (full-text)
•Find Attachments (full-text)
•Simple Search (full-text)
•Advanced Search (full-text and relational)
•Form Search (full-text and relational)

When only searching documents, make sure that the View image (camera) button on the Dynamic toolbar is not activated, otherwise it will open images in Concordance Desktop Image. |
