Notes about 24-Hour Chat Threads
•24hr views are created in the Original Visible Version of the chat
•24-Hour Chat Threads can be exported in HTML, PDF, or RSMF
•Can export Chat threads independent of other File Types or include other File Types
•Selected Format must be Concordance
•Unicode should be included for Text and Concordance Format
•When selecting a File Naming Scheme for 24 Hr threads, <PageID>, <PageID/Numeric>, and <AutoNumber> cannot be used.
•Chat threads are compiled from the native message. If a message is redacted or excluded, the entire message content is removed.
•To ensure unwanted chats are not included in the export it is recommended the following Advanced Native File Filtering (Export Utility -Advanced tab) be used:
oInclude native for tagged documents only
oEnforce protection of redacted documents
•If a chat is excluded, the Thread ID, 24-Hr Chat File Name, Sent date and time, and from information for that chat included in the output file. Only the message content is removed.
• When 24-Hr Chats are included with the export, the DAT file includes a ChatView column with the path to the Chat Thread.
•Test exports with 24-Hr Chats and export settings to verify you get the expected results.

An RSMF is essentially an EML file. When a 24‑hour thread is created, all associated attachments are compressed into a single ZIP file and attached to the RSMF (EML). We have identified a recommended maximum size limit of 500 MB for this attached ZIP file. |
