A program that gives LAW the ability to use up to 4gb on RAM on certain tasks has been found. This utility patches x86 executables to allow selected executables to utilize 4GB of RAM (instead of only 2GB of RAM) of virtual memory on x64 platforms. On x64 platforms, the two additional GB can be accessed by 32-bit applications. This tool is especially useful when an application requires more virtual memory like video games, 3D rendering, multimedia etc. In order to allocate an additional 2GB, use this tool to patch the executable (*.exe file) of the selected software of your choosing. Once patching of the executable is successful, a flag is set in the files’ internal format. When that flag is set, it automatically creates a backup copy of the original executable.
